Senior Presales Engineer

Mission:

The Senior Pre-Sales Engineer (Senior PSE) supports sales productivity and deal flow by securing the “technical close” in complex solutions. The Senior PSE collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.

Main Tasks:

• Support Sales Team.
• Analyze customer’s specifications.
• Communicate with customers in order to clarify the needs especially if the spec isn’t clear.
• Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm. Clarify and analyze the anomalies found by the customer.
• Response to tenders with the appropriate technical solution.
• Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support. Communicate all the information to the project team (project manager, Hardware team, project responsible, other functions) about the function that they manage (functional behavior, delivery…).
• Work on presentation and proof of concepts for the customer.

Profile:

Engineering Degree

At best, experience in a similar position.
