For our purposes, we are recruiting : Cloud Service Delivery Manager

Mission

• Take ownership of the cloud services service level agreements (SLA) between Focus and the customer which details the parameters of the cloud services to be provided
• Take ownership of and deliver operational level agreements (OLA) with Focus detailing the provision of certain elements of a service.
• Work with Focus cloud partners to understand the changing market and to reflect this understanding in the products and strategies delivered
• Work with product management and with customers to collaboratively develop and drive the strategy for Focus cloud services
• Work with Focus service delivery teams and customers to ensure high quality delivery and current/evolving customer needs
• Communicate, influence and work with stakeholders and executives both inside and outside of Focus cloud to ensure the broadest understanding and contribution to the Focus cloud services strategy
• Produce suitable business cases through appropriate processes and coordinate cost/activity sign offs
• Act as go-to point for cloud services and advise various internal, partner, and customer teams

Profile

• Degree in technology or Business related field.
• Experince of managing, defining and delivering clearly defined services that enable customers to understand service offerings, including what each service does and does not include, eligibility, service limitations, cost, how to request services, and how to get help.
• Demonstrable experience of  delivering services that  meet the business need and are delivered in accordance with agreed business requirements, and managing the service lifecycle
• Understanding of the unique requirements for enterprise and commercial customer use of private cloud, hybrid cloud, and public cloud
• Understanding of compute, storage, and data centre technologies and emerging trends in cloud computing and storage.
• Understanding of public sector procurement in the technology space.
• High levels of personal motivation, problem solving and persuasion.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of key technology stacks, such as VMWare, Azure, AWS and Docker;
• Understanding of networking technologies and emerging trends in networking
• Significant knowledge of the legal issues pertaining to use of cloud-based services
